Sol Milne
Scientific Coordinator
Sol is a conservation biologist, who uses aerial surveying to empower communities to protect their environments.
Sol has a PhD background in tropical forest ecology through aerial monitoring, and has since specialised on aerial monitoring of marine habitats. He is passionate about using drone technology to learn more about how human activity affects different ecosystems.
Tania Kanchanarak
Senior Scientist
Tania is an ecologist based in Thailand, specialising in modelling species dynamics in response to land use changes and contributing to forest restoration efforts in Southeast Asia.
Tania was born in Thailand and is focused on conservation issues within the country, with a passion for stakeholder engagement to foster collaborative relationships with local communities, governmental bodies and environmental organisations.
Mutuku Simon
Data Science Volunteer
Mutuku has a background in agricultural technology and is an expert in drone operations safety management and ArcGIS.
Mutuku aims to leverage these learnings to make a significant impact in his home country of Kenya in the future.
Jon Fitton
Advisor
John is a co-founder of EcoThailand, a Thai foundation based in Surat Thani province focused on environment and education. John was a lecturer in biochemistry at the University of Sheffield and a project manager at a bioscience company. He has a lifelong interest in the environment and sustainable living.
Jintamard Sinlapaprommard (Jinta)
Advisor
Jinta is a co-founder of EcoThailand, a Thai foundation based in Surat Thani province focused on environment and education. Jinta is very beloved in the community and regularly organized education awareness program. She has a degree in environmental studies and law that she uses for the improvement of environmental conservation and restoration.
Dr. Ebrahim
Advisor
Dr. Ebrahim, a recognized Ocean Expert, dedicates his career to sustainable fisheries in Seychelles. His research and leadership roles at SFA, James Michel Foundation, and Island Conservation Society showcase his commitment to ocean health and responsible fishing practices. He actively contributes to national policies and management plans, like the National Blue Carbon Policy and DFAD regulations.

We are looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help us amplify our message and engage with our online community. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and curating content for our social media platforms, crafting compelling posts, and interacting with our followers.
Your contribution will help raise awareness about marine conservation issues and promote our ongoing projects and research findings. If you are a creative person with a knack for social media and passion for environmental advocacy, we would love to hear from you!
Data Science Volunteer
7 Hours Per Week
We are looking for a Data Science Volunteer to assist with developing our capability in AI and machine learning to find innovative solutions to advance marine conservation efforts. In this role, you will work on projects that leverage cutting-edge technology that directly contribute to data analysis and the understanding of marine ecosystem protection.
